Evans reads Seuss at South End library branch
Boston Police Commissioner William Evans was recently seen reading to the kids from the Tobin School who are participating in a summer reading program sponsored by Boston's Bridge to Excellence, Boston PAL and the BPD at the South End Branch of the Boston Public Library. As you can see in the photos, Commissioner Evans had a blast hanging out with the kids while reading 'Oh the Places You'll Go!' by Dr. Seuss. Said the Commissioner: "It's so important for the kids to see us in a positive light. We want them to grow up knowing how much we care about them and their safety. And, getting the chance to read to them gives us a chance to share that message."
