Boston police arrested four people on shoplifting charges Friday following a series of thefts at retail stores in the South End and Back Bay, according to police reports.
Officers first responded to reports of shoplifting at the Alo store on Boylston Street and later at a nearby Lululemon location, according to police. A 15-year-old female was arrested with merchandise valued at approximately $516 taken from both stores, according to police reports.
Later Friday evening, officers were alerted to two known shoplifters inside another store, according to police. Kayla Harris, 31, of Boston, and Demetrius Little, 31, of Roxbury, were arrested as they left the store with stolen goods worth $1,422, according to police reports. Both face charges of larceny over $1,200 and conspiracy, according to police.
In a separate incident, officers stopped a group of individuals near Huntington Avenue, according to police. A 14-year-old male attempted to flee but was apprehended after a struggle, according to police reports. He was found with $296 in stolen merchandise and faces charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and resisting arrest, according to police.
The 15-year-old female is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court, while the 14-year-old male will be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court, according to police.
