Crite Park Updates

Exciting news about Crite Park!

Crite Park is located at the corner of Columbus Avenue, West Canton and Appleton Streets.

Over the past six years, the Friends of Crite Park have fundraised, built community awareness and support, worked with professionals, developed plans to meet city requirements, responded to additional city requests, and modified plans as needed without sacrificing the essence of the well thought out design for Crite Park.

A final review at a public hearing with the City's Public Improvement Committee took place on Thursday, January 26th. The Project was unanimously approved! The Friends of Crite Park are thrilled and hope construction will begin this spring. Plans are underway for a ground breaking ceremony in late May or early June. For more information about the Park, volunteer opportunities or to make a donation, please visit CritePark.Org.
