Elizabeth Anderson, of Boston received a bachelor of arts degree from College of the Holy Cross.
Anderson is among 762 bachelor of arts degree recipients Holy Cross celebrated at its 177th Commencement held in person on Friday, May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Senator Peter Welch '69 of Vermont, a Class of 1969 alumnus, delivered this year's address to the Class of 2023 and received an honorary degree.
Lasell University
Carrie He, a Lasell University student from Boston (02118), participated in the institution's annual Connected Learning Symposium in April. Each presentation demonstrates a particular set of core career competencies listed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) as being in high demand in the workforce.
He presented "What I Know Now: Discoveries from Social Science Majors' Capstones," about their psychology and sociology projects and the process of collaboration, grant writing, and preparing for life after Lasell. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of equity and inclusion, career and self development, professionalism, intercultural knowledge and effectiveness, moral and ethical reasoning, and civic and community engagement
He also showcased work done by Psi Chi, the International Psychology Honor Society, at Symposium, was named to the dean's list for their academic performance in the spring 2023 semester, was inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and graduated from Lasell University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Graduates were recognized at the University's 169th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 13.
Clark University
Kiara Ivelisse Ramirez Lopez, of Boston, Mass., received a degree from Clark University during the University's 119th Commencement exercises on Sunday, May 21. Ramirez Lopez graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.
The University awarded 1,300 degrees (590 bachelor's degrees, 681 master's degrees, and 29 doctoral degrees) to the Class of 2023 and conferred three honorary degrees in ceremonies that heralded the graduates for their accomplishments, their resilience, and their ambition.
Ramirez Lopez was also named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2023 semester. Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Grant Kibel of Boston 02118 was named to the Dean's List at Lehigh University in the Spring 2023 semester. Dean's List status, which is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses, has been granted to Grant Kibel in the Spring 2023 semester.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Callie Liu, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Computer Science, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2023 semester.
A total of 2,054 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's spring 2023 Dean's List. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

Abigail Smith, of Boston (02118), was recently named to the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) spring All-Academic Team for women's lacrosse. The recognition honors sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Smith, a rising senior majoring in biochemistry/molecular biology, is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.
