Passport Day on Saturday, September 22

Wednesday Sep 12, 2018

The Boston Passport Agency is hosting a special passport day on Saturday, September 22 as part of the Department of State's Passport Awareness Month. The U.S. Department of State is celebrating Passport Awareness Month by launching the #PicturePerfectPassport public awareness campaign to improve the quality of passport photos submitted by applicants. Bad photos are the number one reason passport applications are suspended during processing. The event on Saturday is a convenient way to apply for the first time or renew your passport.

Day: Saturday, September 22
Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Location: 10 Causeway Street, Boston MA
Payment: Credit card, personal check, exact cash (no change is given)

Applicants may choose routine service (6 weeks) or expedited service (3 weeks). The expedited service costs an additional $60. Applicants will be seen on a first come, first serve basis and no appointment is necessary.

Before applying we recommend you go to Travel.State.Gov/PicturePerfect to see a complete list of photo requirements. For information on passport forms, and fees, please visit Travel.State.Gov or call the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-877-487-2778/1-888-874-7793 (TTY/TTD).
