After serving hot slices to the South End for over 40 years, Emilios Ventouris, owner of Emilio's Pizza, has been forced to shutter the eatery. According to reports, Emilios has suffered a "severe back injury" and is closing the business while getting treatment. It is unknown if this is a temporary or permanent closure.


Emilio's Pizza is 536 Tremont Street. It opened in 1979.
