On Thursday, July 14th, 2016, The Aquitaine Group celebrated the re-opening of their flagship restaurant, Aquitaine Bar à Vin Bistro, located on the South End's "restaurant row." After a five month extensive renovation, the team served guests with complimentary Pierre Jouet champagne, signature French themed cocktails and small bite prepared by Chef de Cuisine Bob Krajewski. Partners Seth Woods, Jeff Gates and Matt Burns, along with operating partner Chris Glionna and general manager Emily Ackerman played host, with attendees that included Amanda Hark and Jeff Osborne of Hark + Osborne, the design team behind Aquitaine, along with Boston Herald's new food editor Scott Kearnan, Janet Wu of Channel 7 News, Kerry Kavanaugh of Fox25 News, Emmy award winning producer Jenny Johnson, media personality Bianca Delagarza, stylists Elisha Daniels and Marci Duarte, Susan Tran and Cheryl Fiandaca of Channel 7 News and more.
