Last week, the Boston Police Department kicked off a new summer initiative to keep Boston safe in the upcoming months. As part of this plan, the BPD formed a partnership with the MA State Police, Northeastern University Police, and Transit Police, to create a joint bicycle patrol along the Southwest Corridor from Copley Square to Forest Hills. This multi-agency collaboration will ensure that officers are on patrol and visible in these areas to help prevent and reduce opportunities for crime.
