South Ender Dan'quell Bradford founder of the casual apparel design initiative Dani & Dan'quell will have her unique designs showcased at the Tufts University Annual LUX Charity Fashion Show on April 4.

The LUX Fashion Show, produced byTufts China Care, exists to fund raise for life-saving surgeries for orphaned children in China.

China Care is a TCU-recognized student organization whose mission is to care for orphaned children in China through Half the Sky Foundation. LUX is China Care's biggest fundraiser of the year, annually bringing in enough funds to sponsor surgeries for multiple infants and children.

In 2011, between LUX and its other fundraising initiatives, China Care raised $4400, treating a baby named Botian's cleft lip, Yan's cleft palate, Rong's cataracts, and Tong's spina bifida.

In 2012, the LUX Fashion Show alone raised $4300 for Tufts China Care! Overall, China Care donated $6360 to Half the Sky Foundation and sponsored 10 babies' surgeries.

2013 was Tufts China Care's biggest year ever - we donated over $7,000 to Half the Sky!
