Friends of the South End Library

We hope you are well and keeping yourselves and others safe. To continue to support our authors, bookstores, library programming and you, our audience quarantined at home, the Friends of the South End Library has launched South End Writes REMOTE. Check www.friendsofsouthendlibrary.org for updates.
FOSEL has compiled a list of websites for children and young adults to explore while at home. They are in two categories, Books and Reading and Science, Art and Crafts. They include a website from the Tate Galleries in the UK, Tate Kids; a link to the International Children's Digital Library with books in multiple languages; a South-End produced website that ranks picture books for kids, Thumbs Up Books; and Skype a Scientist, a website that allows kids to request to speak to a scientist via Skype.
