Volunteers from Ocean State Job Lot teamed up with Boston Medical Center to fight hunger by lending a helping hand at BMC's Preventive Food Pantry. The day of volunteerism was part of a $10 million pledge of food and funds by Job Lot CEO Marc Perlman and his wife, Claire, in support of the new, expanded food pantry, which serves more than 6,000 patients and their families every month.
