The Trustees welcomed over 5,000 members and guests, which included 150 guests seated in the special VIP section, to the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra concert at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, joined by special guest Megan Hilty, an accomplished, Tony-nominated American musical theatre performer, television actress, singer and solo artist best known for her roles as Ivy Lynn in NBC's musical-drama "Smash" and Glinda in "Wicked," her Broadway debut. Hilty has had her debut performing with the Boston Pops in March of 2013 and performed again to great fanfare in their 2014 July 4th Fireworks Spectacular. Hilty and The Pops were joined by guest conductor Bob Bernhardt, Principal Pops Conductor for the Louisville Pops.

Before the concert, VIPs were served hors d'oeuvres by Fireside Catering and beer, wine, beverages and cocktails by Berkshire Mountain Distillers under a tent. During the concert they were seated in a special section near the stage featuring a selection of seating provided by Party by Design including couches, loveseats, lawn furniture, tables and chairs. After the concert, they were served coffee and dessert, also provided by Fireside Catering and a meet and greet and photo opportunity with special guest, Megan Hilty.
