Pine Street Inn, New England's largest homeless services organization, is proud to announce its incoming chair of the board of directors, Lorn Davis, who has served on the board for over 13 years. Since joining the board in 2009, Davis has held several key roles, most recently as treasurer and vice-chair. In addition, he also serves on Pine Street Inn's audit and finance committee.

"I am honored to take on the role of board chair at Pine Street Inn," Davis said. "For over 50 years, Pine Street has led Boston and the nation in the fight to end homelessness, evolving from providing 'three hots and a cot' to delivering a comprehensive range of services, including housing, emergency shelter, street outreach and workforce development to more than 1,400 individuals each day. I look forward to continuing to move forward on its crucial work of expanding housing and ending homelessness in Boston," he added.

"We are thrilled to welcome Lorn Davis as our new chair of Pine Street's board of directors," said Lyndia Downie, president and executive director of Pine Street Inn. "Lorn has demonstrated a deep commitment to the organization, contributing knowledge and expertise that has helped us make great strides as we continue to move individuals off the street, out of shelter and into housing."
Davis has spent over 25 years in the financial services industry. He is a co-founder and managing partner of College Hill Capital Partners and currently serves as an Independent Trustee of Nationwide Mutual Funds and Nationwide Variable Insurance Trust. Davis previously served as a managing director at Hancock Capital Management and John Hancock Life Insurance. He holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, and an MBA from New York University.

Pine Street Inn looks forward to the contributions that Davis will continue to bring as chair of the board. His new role comes at a key time for Pine Street, as the organization focuses on scaling up permanent supportive housing for those experiencing homelessness in Boston. With 251 new units currently in development in Boston, the organization is poised to make an even greater impact on ending homelessness in Boston.
