Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, August 10, a man was slashed in the neck at Mass. Ave and Albany Street.
The victim fell to the ground, then ran through traffic a half block down Massachusetts Avenue before Boston EMS found him and transported him back a half block to the Boston Medical Center emergency room. Injury not considered life threatening.
It's at least the third knife attack in the general Mass/Cass area in the past two weeks. The victims of the two other two attacks died.
