On Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7:00 pm in D4 Police Station, 2nd Floor Community Room

Our agenda will include:

Scholarship Committee (Andrew Parthum): A word about our most recent scholarship awards to benefit neighborhood young people.

Introductions: We anticipate that representatives of Burro Bar and Bar Lyon, two new restaurants in the neighborhood, and state representative-elect Jon Santiago (9th Suffolk district) may join us, schedules allowing, to say hello.

Proposed Albany Street medical marijuana dispensary: Vincent Giordano of Liberty Compassion, Inc. will discuss a medical marijuana dispensary his company seeks to open at 591 Albany Street and take questions and comments about this proposal and the city and state review process now underway.

Friends of the Squares (Toni Crothall): An update on this summer's "human quadrant" initiative and ongoing efforts to make Blackstone and Franklin Squares pleasant, happy places for people and dogs alike.
