To celebrate its first birthday, Frenchie, the South End restaurant recognized as one of 2017's best openings, welcomes Michelin starred Chef Eric Sampietro into their South End kitchen on January 29th and 30th.

Chef Sampietro comes to Boston from Le Verdurier restaurant in Château de Drudas-a newly renovated castle in Toulouse, France, owned by Frenchie owner Sandrine Rossi's parents Jean and Francoise Rossi.

Sampietro was awarded a Michelin star in 2009 at La Table des Cordeliers in Condom, France, where he served inventive dishes such as cappuccino (soup) of green asparagus and strawberries, and a daring dessert of roasted bananas, julienned celery, and ivory ice cream. Eric is proficient in French, Italian, and Lebanese cuisines and is also a master chocolatier.

Frenchie is located at 560 Tremont Street.
