Security guard stabbed in the hand at pharmacy

Shortly after 9:40 p.m. on September 28, at the Walgreens at 1603 Washington Street, a security guard was stabbed in the hand.Police are looking for three suspects: Two white men and a white woman, all in their 30s.


Victim Identified in Death Investigation

At about 6:40 AM on Sunday, September 24, 2017, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Southampton and Topeka Streets, South End.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim who appeared to be in his 30's suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victims has since been identified as Carlos Montalvo, 33, of Boston.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information relative to the investigation is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
