Dr. Robyn Riseberg was joined by City Councilor Ed Flynn, Dr. Gloria White Hammond, Rep Joe Kennedy and a number of patients and supporters as she opened Boston Community Pediatrics (BCP), a nonprofit, pediatric private practice which is the first of its kind in Massachusetts. BCP's mission is to bring equity to pediatric healthcare by giving all patients - including those on MassHealth - direct access to their primary care provider as well as comprehensive, prevention-oriented medical care, care navigation services, and integrated behavioral health services.
BCP leverages an asset-based, relationship-driven approach to improve health outcomes and lower health care costs for all pediatric patients, regardless of socioeconomic status or background.
