South End Resident Receives Award from Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program by Sue O’Connell
MySouthEnd.com ContributorThursday Apr 19, 2012 Salina Chan recently received an Individual Achievement Award from her employer, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP).
Chan, a billing coordinator for BHCHP, was honored for her excellent job performance, positive attitude and willingness to innovate. "Salina is a smart, assertive, and hard working employee and always has a smile on her face," said Agnes Leung, the organization’s chief financial officer and Chan’s supervisor.
Founded in 1985, BHCHP has evolved into the largest and most comprehensive health care for the homeless program in the country, delivering services to more than 12,000 homeless men, women and children a year at more than 80 shelters and sites. For more information, visit www.bhchp.org.
