Community Safety Day for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders

On Saturday, June 22 the Boston Police District 4 Community Service Office will host a Community Safety Day. This Community Day is for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related developmental disabilities and their families and caregivers.

The event will be held at Peters Park, between Washington Street and Shawmut Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Local First Responders will be on hand to answer questions on how to best prepare for emergency situations involving your loved one diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related developmental disabilities.

The Boston Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services, and The Deputy Sheriff of Suffolk County will also be on hand.
