Obituary: Joseph McCallion

Joe McCallion, formerly of 35 Worcester Square, died in Lazy Lake (Fort Lauderdale), Florida, on November 4. An electrician who grew up in New Jersey, he was president of the Worcester Square Area Neighborhood Association in the late Seventies and early Eighties. His kitchen was the setting for many heated discussions on neighborhood issues. Later, he was co-owner of the Haymarket bar. He is survived by his long-term partner, Jimmy Rafferty.
