On Wednesday, June 25, South End resident Joshua Slater, made a splash while celebrating the release of Boston author Ben Mezrich's first children's book, Bringing Down the Mouse, at The Colonnade Hotel's newly redesigned Roof Top Pool, Boston's only outdoor rooftop pool. Guests caught the last rays of the day while mingling over playful appetizers like smoking root beer shots, mini sliders and white chocolate caramelized popcorn from The Colonnade Hotel's Director of Food & Beverage Operations, Nicholas Calias, CEC. PRIVATEER Rum provided Summer Punch to quench guests' thirst while they admired sweeping views of the South End and Back Bay neighborhoods from 12 stories above the city streets.
